Let us send a certified personal trainer, acupuncturist, or massage therapist to your home or office.

Our fitness trainers draw from a versatile selection of popular and less well-known fitness modalities.  The specific fitness program we create for each client is based on their individual goals and abilities. Because the training is one-to-one or in small groups, the fitness program is progressively adjusted so that it’s challenging, interesting and safe.  For busy New Yorkers we provide the added benefit that we will schedule the work-out at your home or office.

Additionally, we have a skilled acupuncturist and massage therapist who make house calls.

The Fitness Assessment

Prior to putting together an exercise program, a member of our staff will meet with you to discuss your relevant medical history.  In certain circumstances we may ask your permission to contact your physician or physical therapist, to ensure that we have a complete picture of any pre-existing conditions, injuries or other limitations that are relevant to your fitness program. During the meeting we will also ask you about your exercise history, interests and goals.

We will then select a personal trainer from our staff who we believe will be best able to work with you given your activity level, your availability and your interests. Trainers can also be changed upon request.

Our customized training programs are designed to be effective, challenging, motivating and interesting. The program can be designed for one-to-one or group training.  We can tailor the program to match your particular interests, or focus on just one of the modalities listed below:

*Qi Gong is a traditional Chinese discipline. With its slow graceful movements, the regular practice of Qi Gong provides individuals with the benefits of a moving meditation, reducing stress, enhancing flexibility and promoting emotional and physical balance. Dr. Ka is a Qi Gong master who has been practicing and teaching the discipline for over 50 years. He is offering a series of private lessons as well as a group practice.

**Arnisikaran: Absolute Fitness exclusively offers a combination of the ancient art of Arnis and Kickboxing. This program utilizes the graceful movements of Filipino stick fighting which teaches balance, timing and coordination with the agility and energy of kick-boxing. A great total body and mind discipline and workout!
